Workshop Cancellation Policy.
[Extract from ‘Workshop Terms & Conditions’]
4. Cancellation and Refunds
4.1 Should you need to cancel your booking, you can do so up to two weeks before the workshop date to be eligible for a full refund [minus any card charges].
4.2. If you cancel within fourteen days of the workshop, no refund will be given unless your place can be filled with another participant.
4.3. Should it be necessary for me to cancel a workshop I will try to give as much notice as possible. You will be entitled to request a refund or, alternatively, you may transfer to a workshop on a different date of the same value [or use your fee as payment against a workshop of greater value]. Please note - my liability will be restricted to the cost of the workshop only, not for travel, accommodation or other additional costs associated with the booking.
4.4 Friends and family may attend in your place for any workshop providing you have given 24hrs notice before the workshop commences. Names and contact details of anyone attending in your place will be required prior to the workshop commencement.
4.5 Workshops bought as gifts [e.g. using a gift voucher] are subject to the same cancellation policy.
4.6 Any workshop purchased at a discount is subject to the same Terms and, if applicable, any refund will be to a maximum of the price paid.
4.7 Please note that statutory rights relating to cancellation of a workshop [considered a leisure activity to be attended on a specific date] fall within the exclusion provided by Regulation 28 of the Consumer Contracts [Information, cancellation and Additional charges] Regulations 2013.
4.8 Failure to show up for a workshop without prior notification forfeits the right to a refund or transfer of booking to an alternative date.
4.9 Refunds will be made to the original payment method used to purchase the workshop. If payment was made using a gift voucher, this would be re-activated.
4.10 Credit card payments may take up to 5-10 business days for a refund to show on your statement.
5. Copyright
5.1 When enrolling on a workshop please be aware that the intellectual property rights to my working methods, demonstrated techniques and ideas are retained by me.
5.2 Engaging in any business activity that involves copying of my work or ideas is strictly not permitted. This includes, but is not limited to, producing copies of my work for sale or conducting workshops using my ideas or artwork.
